Uma das coisas que mais desanimam o cristão que esforça para ser fiel ao Senhor é a experiência da angústia. O sentimento de angústia é um mal crescente, que pode ficar avassalador. Ele é um misto de prostração, de ansiedade, de revolta, de sofrimento. Sua vivência é especialmente dolorosa quando começa a desenvolver uma sensação de abandono, de “não tem jeito”. Cristão pode experimentar angústia? Pode e experimenta. E não necessariamente porque se afastou do Senhor ou incorreu em pecado. A Bíblia, em várias ocasiões, descreve a angústia dos “justos”. No seu cômputo geral, o ensino bíblico diz que o Senhor usa o mal da angústia para, finalmente, fortalecer a vida espiritual dos que O seguem. Os bons cristãos, quando assaltados pela angústia, agarram-se com o Senhor, de uma forma intensa e definitiva – de uma maneira que não acontece, quando tudo é tranqüilidade. Daí o testemunho do salmista: “o Senhor é a salvação e a fortaleza dos justos no tempo da angústia”. Amém. Deus te abençõe em nome de JESUS. Amém. abraços.
